There were three pairs of cardinals nesting around our yard. Each pair laid four eggs. The babies are fledged and have left the nest. How many cardinals (parents and fledglings together) are in our yard?
A chickadee is 5 1/2 inches long. A turkey vulture is 26 inches long. About how many chickadees would you need to put in a line to equal the length of two turkey vultures? (The answer won’t be exact.)

Thank you. We did. It is fun to do things together. Hannah’s dog is staying with us for a couple weeks and that is fun too. He gets us to do different things – play ball, go for long and short walks – and just have a new somedog to talk to. Thanks for doing the math and keeping your mind in the game!
